The grilling season of 2026 has begun. Against this backdrop, a recent product recall is drawing special attention. An electric grill poses a risk of electric shock, so it should no longer be used.
Zwilling has initiated a product safety recall for certain models of its Enfinigy brand contact grill. Devices with a specific product identification may have a safety-related defect. Users should immediately take the affected devices out of service. The company offers either a repair or a replacement as a solution.
Recall only affects a specific product identification
Zwilling has published the product recall for the Enfinigy contact grill. According to the company, only devices with the product identification 42BZ92 are affected.
According to the company, in individual cases, a side part of the handle may come into contact with internal, live wires. This creates the risk of a hazardous electric shock. The company points out that this poses a potential danger to life and limb. For product safety reasons, the recall action for the affected devices has been initiated.
The relevant product identification is located on the nameplate on the underside of the contact grill. Customers are urged to check their devices based on this identification.
Stop use immediately
The manufacturer urgently advises users to immediately stop using the grill. According to the company, Enfinigy contact grills with other product identifications are not affected by the recall and can continue to be used.
Customers are also asked to pass on the notice to anyone who uses or might use the contact grill. This is especially important if the device has been loaned, sold, or made available to others.

Further recalls
The recall of the Zwilling contact grill is part of a series of recent product safety warnings. In recent weeks, smoothie makers from Media Markt and Saturn were recalled due to choking hazards, a battery-powered stand mixer from Aldi due to potential fire hazards, and a hot air fryer from TEDi due to safety-related defects.
A warning was also issued for certain pendant lights from the manufacturer Markslöjd, as there may be a risk of electric shock under certain circumstances. Consumers should therefore regularly check recall notices and not continue to use affected products.
