Google has unveiled its new Pixel generation. The lineup includes four smartphones from the Pixel 11 series, the Pixel Watch 5, and for the first time, its own key finder with the Pixel Tag. This significantly expands the company’s device offerings and continues to focus on AI features, proprietary hardware, and a tightly integrated ecosystem.
Four New Pixel Smartphones Introduced
Four new smartphones are part of the Pixel 11 family:
- Pixel 11: 6.3 inches, starting at 999 euros
- Pixel 11 Pro: 6.3 inches, starting at 1,199 euros
- Pixel 11 Pro XL: 6.8 inches, starting at 1,399 euros
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Foldable smartphone with 6.4 inches outside and 8 inches inside, starting at 1,999 euros
All models are equipped with the Tensor G6 processor. They also feature upgraded cameras and faster charging. The Pro models support wired charging up to 45 watts. All smartphones in the series can charge wirelessly up to 25 watts.
For the latter, Google now uses the Qi2.2 standard in the Pixel 11 series and offers magnetic PixelSnap accessories such as chargers and mounts. Since Apple co-developed the standard, PixelSnap is fully compatible with the iPhone counterpart MagSafe.
AI Takes Center Stage in Pixel 11
When first trying it out, the new colors and expanded AI features stand out. In everyday use, the new dictation function is particularly helpful. It recognizes slips of the tongue, filters out background noise, and automatically corrects inputs. According to Google, the function works in virtually any app where text can be entered.
The most significant hardware innovation is the Tensor G6. The chip is designed to deliver more power while processing more AI tasks directly on the smartphone. Aside from the new telephoto camera in the Pro models, there are few notable changes.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold Sticks to Familiar Design
With the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Google continues to use the existing format. A 6.4-inch display is used on the outside, and an 8-inch foldable screen on the inside. The visible crease remains, as do the relatively wide display edges.

Pixel Watch 5 Gets New Health Features
Externally, the Pixel Watch 5 resembles its predecessor. Internally, however, Google has made several changes. For the first time, the company promises a battery life of up to two days. Additionally, a new processor in the watch can execute certain AI functions directly on the device. The Gemini voice assistant makes its own suggestions, such as when replying to messages.
Also new is a health monitor. It can trigger an alarm for:
- significantly elevated blood pressure
- signs of insulin resistance
- irregular breathing, including automatic emergency call
Some of these features are expected to be activated only after the market launch in September and October. Whether they will be available directly in Germany is still uncertain. The Pixel Watch 5 starts at 419 euros, which is 20 euros more than the previous model.

Pixel Tag to Find Lost Items
With the Pixel Tag, Google is launching its first Bluetooth tracker.
Lost keys, bags, or backpacks can be located via the Android search network. The current location is then transmitted to the owner. The tracker is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. According to Google, the replaceable CR2032 battery should last up to a year.
Google Continues to Expand Its Ecosystem
With the new devices, Google focuses on its own priorities such as AI and photography. At the same time, the company integrates features already established by Apple. This is evident in PixelSnap and the Pixel Tag. The Pixel Watch 5 also receives additional health features. Meanwhile, Google aims to differentiate itself from other providers with the announced detection of potential diabetes risks.
Two points are particularly striking: The Pixel 11 costs 999 euros, 50 euros more than the iPhone 17. Additionally, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is technically solid, it continues to rely on the familiar design approach.
With the Pixel 11 series, the Pixel Watch 5, and the Pixel Tag, Google significantly expands its device portfolio. AI features, camera technology, and health features are expected to make the new products appealing.
