Deezer is expanding its offerings with a new online tool that specifically analyzes playlists for AI-generated music. The free service is not only aimed at users of its own platform. Playlists from other streaming providers can also be analyzed. According to the company, around 20 popular music services are supported.
Analysis of Playlists for AI Music
With the new offering, Deezer aims to reveal whether fully AI-generated tracks are present in a playlist. To do this, the respective streaming account is connected to the tool. The service then examines the selected playlists and generates a report. This report shows which tracks have been identified as involving AI.
According to Deezer, the tool works not only with its own offerings but also with well-known streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. This allows users to have playlists checked across platforms.

Deezer’s Own Detection System
As the company explains in a blog post, the tool uses a self-developed technology. This is designed to recognize typical features and patterns generated by known AI models. Based on this, the system identifies fully synthetic music tracks.

Deezer follows a similar approach on its own platform. Tracks classified as completely AI-generated no longer appear in recommendations or editorially curated playlists. According to the company, this is intended to help avoid distortions on the platform. At the same time, it aims to protect and fairly distribute the earnings of human artists.
Millions of Recognized AI Tracks
According to Deezer, AI music already plays a significant role today. The company reports that among 43 percent of users who switch from other music services to Deezer, AI music was found in their existing playlists.
The number of new uploads is also high. According to Deezer, about 75,000 AI-generated songs are submitted daily. This accounts for more than 44 percent of all uploads on the platform.
Overall, the company claims to have already identified and labeled more than 13.4 million AI-generated tracks by 2025. The figures illustrate the extent to which AI music has now reached streaming platforms.
