Joyn is significantly expanding its streaming offerings in the coming months. To this end, ProSiebenSat.1 has signed a new licensing agreement with Paramount, applicable to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The deal includes new series, exclusive premieres, well-known TV classics, children’s programs, and numerous films.
This benefits not only the TV channels of the ProSiebenSat.1 group. A large portion of the content will also be available directly on Joyn. For the streaming platform, this means several exclusive new releases and thousands of additional series episodes.
New Episodes of “NCIS: Origins” Coming Exclusively
Particularly interesting for series fans is the new content from the “Navy CIS” universe. The package includes not only the first two seasons of “NCIS: Origins” but also exclusive rights to season 3. The prequel has been telling the backstory of future NCIS chief Leroy Jethro Gibbs since 2024. In America, the season premieres on October 3, 2026. When it will be available in Germany is still unclear. However, fans can already look forward to Mark Harmon returning as Gibbs.
Additionally, the series “FBI: International” will be available on Joyn. The spin-off of the 2018 series “FBI” was previously only available on Apple TV or as a purchase title on Prime Video.

In addition to the new releases, the agreement also includes an extensive so-called archive package. A total of 1,372 episodes of various older series from the existing Paramount catalog are set to come to Joyn. These include both cult formats and modern productions. Among those mentioned are:
- “Elementary”
- “Beverly Hills, 90210”
- “Scorpion”
- “The Good Wife”
- “Bull”
- “Diagnosis Murder”
- “Blue Bloods”

The children’s and family offerings will also be expanded. The deal includes an additional 1,200 episodes from the Nickelodeon catalog. These include:
- “Rugrats”
- “Victorious”
- “Zoey 101”
- “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”
Fitting for the Halloween season, 26 horror films are also set to move to Joyn. Fans can look forward to titles like “Friday the 13th” and the “Hellraiser” series.

The contract is particularly important for Joyn. The platform is expanding its offerings with thousands of well-known titles and securing several exclusive premieres.
The new Paramount contract is not the first major agreement of its kind. ProSiebenSat.1 has already entered into several comprehensive content partnerships in recent years. However, the current deal clearly shows Joyn’s strategy: Instead of relying solely on original productions, the platform aims to attract more viewers with well-known brands, long-running successful series, and large licensing packages.
