Streaming users are now accustomed to receiving a monthly overview of upcoming movies and series. But what does Netflix have in store for 2026? The leading provider has now answered this question itself. The list is long and full of highly anticipated highlights. There are also a few surprises hidden within.
These Are the Series Highlights on Netflix 2026
It is already clear that numerous new series and seasons will appear on Netflix in 2026. But the company will not skimp on content in other areas either. An elaborately produced preview trailer is already set to whet the appetite for the new streaming year:
It is important to remember that while the following lists are extensive, they are by no means complete. For example, it is noticeable that most titles with specific dates are all set to appear only until summer. Much remains uncertain from fall onward. One Piece, Season 2 – from March 10
The series adaptation of the world’s most successful manga finally enters its second round. In “One Piece” Season 2, the popular crew led by Luffy and company sets out for the infamous Grand Line to achieve their goals. Along the way, the adventurers meet many new friends, but also foes. Beef, Season 2 – from April 16
One of the undoubtedly best Netflix series of recent years is entering its second round. The first season of “Beef” won several awards, including Emmys and Golden Globes. The title was also very well received by fans and critics alike–on Rotten Tomatoes, for example, a staggering 98 percent of all reviews were positive.
For Season 2, however, fans will have to get used to new faces, as reported by “Variety.” The previous lead duo of Steven Yeun and Ali Wong will make way for a new story with new characters, but will remain involved in the project as producers.
The new round is about a young couple working at a country club who witness a fierce argument between their boss and his wife. Stars include Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny.

Narnia – from 4th Quarter 2026
The famous book series “The Chronicles of Narnia” by C. S. Lewis was already adapted into a successful film trilogy between 2005 and 2010. Since then, fans have been waiting for another adaptation of the beloved stories.
However, the wait is almost over. For “Narnia,” Oscar-nominated director and screenwriter Greta Gerwig (“Barbie,” “Little Women”) is responsible for bringing a completely new interpretation of the material to the big screen. In fact, the blockbuster will first appear in IMAX theaters in November before landing on Netflix in December. Further details about the exact plot and cast remain under wraps for now.
