The successful U.S. series “Grey’s Anatomy” is expanding with a new spin-off. This will further grow the universe of the medical drama. The announcement is likely exciting for longtime fans, as even an appearance by the well-known main character Meredith Grey seems possible.
New Stories Planned in Texas
According to the production team, the new spin-off will not be set in Seattle like the original series. Instead, the storyline is set in a rural area in the western part of the U.S. state of Texas. There, a medical center serves as the last resort for many patients “before the miles of nowhere.”
Further details about the storyline of the “Grey’s Anatomy” spin-off are not yet available. An official title for the new series is also missing. It is also not yet determined which actors will be part of the cast.
