In movies and series, the ending often determines whether a story is truly good or not. And often, something incredible happens at the very end, sparking plenty of conversation. That’s why it shouldn’t be revealed with so-called spoilers. But now Netflix itself has released numerous spoilers online.

Why has Netflix suddenly compiled a bunch of spoilers in a video? No one knows. For movie and series fans, this is akin to, if not the cardinal sin itself. There’s hardly anything more frustrating than learning about a shocking plot twist before experiencing it yourself. At least the streamer dutifully adds “Spoiler Alert”:
The post from Netflix’s UK and Ireland branch states: “To make room for 2026, we’re spoiling 2025. We’re not messing around. You’ve been warned.” One user jokes that this is the first time the streaming service has actually delivered on what it announced.

The list of spoiled movies and series reads like a list of Netflix highlights. It includes titles such as “KPop Demon Hunters,” “Squid Game” Season 3, “Wednesday” Season 2, “You,” “Adolescence,” and “Monster: The Ed Gein Story.”
All of them are revealed. With such an illustrious lineup, “Stranger Things” is, of course, not missing. The fifth and final season is currently being released in three parts. At the end of the video, you see the beloved characters from the series and the words “They all …”
Mixed Reactions Among Fans
Then it ends, and fans wonder what happens to Mike, Eleven, Hopper, and the others. Under the post on X, angry questions about “Stranger Things” alternate with critical voices. “Why are they doing this, does anyone like it?” asks one user, questioning the entire action.

At least there are a few people who don’t take it too seriously and even liked the many Netflix spoilers. And for at least one user, it’s clear that this is “great marketing.” After all, many fans now can’t wait to see the big “Stranger Things” finale.
