Dyson is expanding its range with a new fan featuring an integrated camera. The model, named “Dyson Find+Follow Purifier Cool,” is designed to automatically adjust the airflow to people in the room. This means the air follows users even as they move. Additionally, the device handles air purification and continuously monitors air quality, according to the manufacturer.
How the New Dyson Fan Works
Dyson fans are known for their unique airflow technology, which allows for a consistent airflow that can be directed precisely.
The new Dyson Find+Follow Purifier Cool also features an integrated camera. According to the manufacturer, it is not used for room surveillance or detecting intruders. Instead, an AI-based system detects if people are present in the room and then automatically directs the airflow toward them.
According to Dyson, the system does not recognize features that could identify individuals. Additionally, the device processes image data locally and is designed to delete all data immediately.

Airflow Automatically Follows People
The airflow can continuously follow people as they move around the room. If multiple people are present, the fan distributes the air evenly among them.
Once no one is in the room, the device automatically reduces ventilation to save energy. Like previous Dyson purifier models, this device filters the air before it is expelled.

The equipment includes HEPA H13 filtration, which, according to the manufacturer, removes pollen, viruses, mold spores, formaldehyde, and dust from the air. An integrated sensor also monitors air quality.
App Control and Night Mode Integrated
The purifier can be controlled and managed via an app on a smartphone. For bedroom use, the device offers a night mode, which Dyson claims reduces operating noise by up to 50 percent.
So far, Dyson sells the model only in the company’s U.S. online store, where the fan costs $850, approximately 731 euros. For Germany, Dyson had already announced a sale price of 699 euros in April 2026, with the market launch expected in May.
However, the exact release date in Germany remains uncertain. The Dyson Find+Follow Purifier Cool is likely to hit the market with only a few days’ delay.
