Following the introduction of the new iPhones, Apple might release additional devices in 2026. According to a Bloomberg report, new smart home products, revamped Macs, and an updated iPad mini are on the agenda.
Smart Devices for the Connected Home
Apple’s product year seems far from over. According to information from Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the company is working on several new devices that could be released before the year’s end. The first to debut are expected to be updated versions of the HomePod mini and Apple TV.
The focus of the updates appears to be more on technical improvements under the hood rather than new designs. Both devices are set to receive more powerful chips to better integrate with Apple’s AI features and the enhanced Siri. A new remote control is also anticipated for the Apple TV streaming box. The external appearance, however, is expected to remain largely unchanged.

Smart Home Hub as a Possible Surprise
Particularly intriguing is a new smart home device that Apple has reportedly been preparing for some time. According to the report, it is a hub with a square display designed to serve as a central control unit for the connected home. Users could manage smart home devices, access information, and integrate various services of the Apple ecosystem through it.
The device was originally expected to be unveiled at the recent iPhone event. Whether Apple will present the hub in 2026 remains uncertain. It is also unclear if the company plans a dedicated event in October or will introduce it through other means. Observers consider both scenarios possible.
New Macs and an OLED Upgrade for the iPad Mini
There are also expected developments in the Mac segment by the end of the year. A new premium MacBook with a touchscreen and OLED display would be particularly surprising. Although Apple has already introduced the current M6 chip generation, this model is initially expected to use a processor from the M5 family.

The anticipated updates for the MacBook Pro and iMac are less spectacular. A switch to the M6 chip is mainly expected here. The iMac could also come in new color variants. The upgrade for the iPad mini, however, is expected to be significantly larger: the compact tablet is rumored to feature an OLED screen for the first time, along with new hardware. A precise timeline for all devices is not yet known. As it stands, the HomePod mini and Apple TV could be the first to appear, while the other new releases are expected more towards the end of October.
