Google continues to integrate artificial intelligence into its services. Now, the experimental lab Google Labs has introduced a new Android application called Dreambeans. The app aims to help better organize digital daily life. Unlike many well-known calendar and organizer apps, it takes a deliberately calmer approach and focuses on a simplified presentation of important information.
Few Important Tips Instead of Constant Distraction
According to the online magazine “9to5Google,” Dreambeans uses various information sources. These include public content, linked Google services such as Gmail and Calendar, and information from past conversations. From this data, the application creates selected information blocks that Google calls “Beans.”
The goal is to avoid overwhelming users with a large number of notifications. Instead, the app is designed to provide only a few relevant tips. Google aims to limit the number of daily notifications to a manageable selection and prevent users from constantly having to scroll through content.

The AI Prepares Content Overnight
According to the concept of Google Labs, Dreambeans works mostly in the background. During the night, the app collects and combines relevant information. The following day, these are presented as short stories.
The artificial intelligence is not intended to act as a strict scheduler. Instead, Google sees the app more as a supportive companion. The prepared content is meant to make important information visible without confronting the user with a multitude of notifications.

Dreambeans also takes a different approach in design. The user interface is visually inspired by illustrated book pages. This is intended to make the usage feel calmer while keeping important content in view. The accompanying images are created by Gemini using Nano Banana 2.
Initially Available Only in the U.S.
Currently, Dreambeans can be used for free. However, the application is available exclusively to subscribers of Google AI Ultra in the U.S.
Whether Google will offer the app in Germany in the future is unknown. However, a later release in Germany does not seem to be ruled out.
