For weeks, alleged insider information and leaked details about the new Google Pixel 10 have been circulating, including technical specifications, visible design changes, new color options, and potential hardware upgrades. Now, images have surfaced that may show the actual new model—confirming several of the previously speculated updates. Find out which specific details are emerging and how the Pixel 10 will differ from its predecessor at TECHBOOK.
Google might unveil its new Pixel 10 smartphones much earlier than expected. Recently, select members of the “Pixel Superfans” program received invitations to a so-called “Pre-Release Pixel Event.” This was reported by “Android Authority.” The invitation includes the date and location of the event (June 27, 2025, in London) and a graphic showing a Pixel smartphone, among other things. However, it’s important to note: The Google Pixel 10 is not mentioned in it. Insiders likely did not expect the launch of the Google Pixel 10 before August, which would align with last year’s schedule (more on that here). The fact that Google is planning such an event at the end of June suggests an earlier unveiling. It is likely the first presentation of the upcoming Pixel 10 generation, especially since numerous, partly credible leaks have circulated, some of which are now being confirmed.
Overview
Design Innovations of the Google Pixel 10
In March 2025, “Android Headlines” published CAD-based renderings that are said to show the design of the Pixel 10. These depictions are now considered largely authentic. The design strongly resembles the previous model, maintaining Google’s typical flat edges, rounded corners, and the characteristic horizontal camera bar. However, the display bezels are significantly narrower, and the frame is more symmetrical. The casing measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.6 millimeters, and the back is apparently made of matte glass. Gorilla Glass Victus is expected to be used again for protection.
There are also initial details about the colors: In addition to classic black, variants in purple, blue, and a vibrant yellow are planned. This information comes from a post on the Telegram channel “Mystic Leaks.”
Display and Camera: More Light, More Zoom
According to several consistent sources, the Pixel 10 will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Additionally, higher peak brightness is expected, which is particularly advantageous in direct sunlight.
A particularly notable upgrade: For the first time, the base model of the Pixel series might be equipped with a triple camera. Previously, only the Pro versions had a telephoto lens. The exact technical specifications of the telephoto camera are not yet known. However, it is speculated to offer optical zoom and enhanced AI-supported zoom functions.
Custom Chip, Efficient Battery
Inside the Pixel 10, according to “Google Watchblog,” the new Google Tensor G5 is expected to operate for the first time—a chip fully developed by Google, now manufactured by TSMC using the 3-nanometer process instead of Samsung. It is said to be not only significantly more powerful but also more energy-efficient. The AI performance, in particular, is expected to improve—a central point for Google’s software strategy.
The battery is said to have a capacity of 4,700 milliampere-hours and support 27-watt fast charging via cable as well as wireless charging up to 15 watts. While Google lags behind the fastest charging capabilities of competitors, it relies on proven reliability.

Android 16 and New AI Features
The Pixel 10 is expected to ship with Android 16 and the revamped user interface Material 3 Expressive. Google’s new AI platform, Pixel Sense, plays a central role, focusing on voice-controlled operation and creative tools. Two of the known features are:
- “Speak-to-Tweak”: Images can be edited via voice command, such as changing colors, moving content, or applying filters—without any touch input.
- “Sketch-to-Image”: The AI automatically generates photorealistic images from rough sketches. This process is comparable to text-to-image AI, but the AI specializes in drawings.
These tools are complemented by AI-supported suggestions for image and video editing, as well as new tools for night mode, portrait videos, and automatic background removal. Whether the Pixel 10 will indeed appear as expected should become clear in the coming weeks.
