A new video purportedly showing the iPhone 18 Pro is sparking fresh speculation about Apple’s upcoming smartphone. In recent months, various hints about the possible design of the device have surfaced. These include a redesigned camera module, initial production preparations, and potential color variants. None of this has been officially confirmed yet. However, the current clip is said to provide the clearest impression of the upcoming Pro model so far.
Drop Test Instead of Render Image
The now-deleted video was posted on X by the well-known leaker Ice Universe. However, the videos can still be viewed on “Notebookcheck.” According to their assessment, this is the largest Apple leak to date. Unlike many earlier leaks, the clip does not show individual components, a protective case, or a render image. Instead, a complete device is seen during a drop test, which Ice Universe refers to as the iPhone 18 Pro.
The source of the footage is unknown. It could be internal Apple material or a video from a company conducting such tests on behalf of the corporation. However, there is no confirmation of this.

Test Device Raises New Questions
The unknown origin makes the clip particularly intriguing. Previously, iPhone leaks often consisted of CAD drawings, mock-ups, accessories, or supply chain information. If the assessment is correct, it could indicate that the model is already in a phase where such tests are conducted. Apple typically keeps devices in this stage of development under wraps.

Despite the video, many questions remain unanswered. Ice Universe only notes that the durability seems solid. At the same time, the device appears surprisingly thick, and the weight is a concern according to the leaker. However, he does not provide specific measurements, comparison data, or further technical details. The post also lacks additional information about the features or development status of the smartphone shown.
Silver Housing Stands Out
One detail is still noticeable in the video: the silver-colored housing. Whether this color will be offered in the production model or is only seen in a test device remains unclear. It is also uncertain how close the smartphone shown is to the final version. More clarity is expected in September 2026, when Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro alongside the iPhone 18 and the first foldable iPhone.
