New iPad mini with A20 Pro

TECHBOOK reported at the end of 2025 that an iPad mini with an OLED display and a newly designed, waterproof casing was in the works and planned for late 2026. Now, MacRumors analyst Aaron Perris has found the device along with product images in Apple’s program code.

Like the current iPhone models 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, as well as the upcoming iPhone Duo, the new iPad mini is expected to feature the powerful and energy-efficient Apple A20 Pro chip. According to the leaked images, the device could have significantly thinner display bezels for the first time in five years. Additionally, the front camera is moving from the short to the long edge of the display–as is now the case with all other iPad models. It is thus primarily oriented for landscape use.

A small notch can be seen at the top edge of the display glass, which could serve as a speaker similar to the iPhone. Earlier reports suggested that the iPad might get a new vibration-based speaker system for the waterproof casing.

The price for the current iPad mini with 128 GB storage increased from 599 euros to 679 euros in June 2026. The stronger hardware and the expected OLED display are likely to make the successor model even more expensive.

Apple TV 4K with AI Support

In August, a product identifier was discovered in Apple’s program code pointing to a new Siri Remote for the upcoming Apple TV 4K. Now, the code has revealed more information about the TV box itself, along with product images.

Externally, the device is not expected to differ from the current Apple TV 4K. However, inside, it is expected to feature at least an A17 Pro and 8 gigabytes of RAM. The more powerful chip allows for higher graphics performance and, together with the also leaked gaming controllers from Apple’s Beats brand, could turn the TV box into a real gaming console. The chip and RAM are also expected to prepare the Apple TV 4K for Apple Intelligence and Siri AI.

Additionally, the TV box is expected to receive the Apple N1 chip, which supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6. WiFi 7 can transmit data over all common frequency bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz) simultaneously, making it theoretically up to four times faster than WiFi 6.

The current Apple TV 4K was released in October 2022 and still comes with the A15 Bionic and 4 gigabytes of RAM. In June 2026, Apple raised the price for the 64 GB version from 169 euros to 220 euros and for the 128 GB version from 189 euros to 299 euros. Whether the new model will be more expensive due to the ongoing RAM and storage crisis is unclear.

Product images for the HomePod mini 2 have also appeared in the program code. According to these, the successor retains the spherical design but will be available in new colors. The images show options in green, pink, blue, white, and black. Green and pink replace yellow and orange, and the new shade of blue is slightly lighter than before. White and black/midnight are expected to remain the same.

A new chip and support for Siri AI are considered likely for the new generation. In June 2026, Apple also raised the price for the HomePod mini from 109 euros to 139 euros.

Launch Still in 2026

All three products could hit the market in 2026. Additionally, three more new products are expected to be released later this year:
