Disney+ has launched a new program in the U.S. that gives loyal users of the streaming service access to exclusive discounts, free trial offers, and sweepstakes. Will the program soon be available in Germany as well?

On May 29, Disney launched the “Disney+ Perks” program in the U.S.; it will be permanently available there. The goal of the loyalty program is—unsurprisingly—to retain subscribers through attractive rewards and exclusive experiences and to attract new customers. Starting June 2, Hulu will also introduce its own perks program. Disney+ has already hinted at expanding the offer to the international market.

Hulu Joins In

Both Disney+ Perks and the Hulu Perks launching on Monday are aimed at subscribers of the respective platforms as well as users of the combo offer. In Germany, Hulu is not available as a separate streaming service, but some of the films and series offered there are part of the Disney+ subscription.

To participate in the “Disney+ Perks” bonus program, users must have an active Disney+ subscription, either as an individual subscription or a bundle offer. After logging into their user account, they gain access to exclusive benefits such as discounts with selected brand partners, free trial periods for various services, and sweepstakes. According to Disney+, certain offers may have additional conditions. For example, some perks are only available to new customers.

Disney+ Perks Offers Discounts, Free Trials, and Sweepstakes

Currently, Disney+ Perks is only available to U.S. residents aged 18 and older. At launch, the streaming provider offers its subscribers a total of twelve benefits, including:

  • Six months of free DashPass delivery subscription from DoorDash (new customers only)
  • 20 percent discount at the Adidas online store
  • 15 percent discount at Funko.com and Loungefly.com
  • Three months free trial of CLEAR+ (travel verification program)
  • Two months of free use of the Super Duolingo language program
  • Free in-game emoji for “Disney Emoji Blitz”
  • Early access to the closed version of Disney Pinnacle with a monthly mystery capsule and a $10 Dapper credit until June 26
  • Special offers for stays at Walt Disney World Resort starting at $99 per night (with a minimum of two nights)
  • Free Star Wars token in the “Monopoly Go!” app

The new “Perks” also include exclusive sweepstakes where participants can win tickets to the world premiere of “Freakier Friday” in Los Angeles in July. Additionally, Disney+ is offering a four-day cruise on the Disney Destiny through Perks. This is the newest ship in the Disney fleet, which will set sail from Fort Lauderdale starting November 2025.

Disney+ Perks in Germany

As mentioned earlier, the program has been available to users in the U.S. since the end of May. In the announcement, the streaming service states that “further international launches will follow later this year.” We have asked the provider what this specifically means and which markets Disney is targeting.
