TECHBOOK is launching a completely new format with the video show STREAM WARS. Celebrity contestants face off against quiz champion Sebastian Klussmann and must prove their knowledge of series and streaming.
Actors, influencers, and YouTube stars–Sebastian Klussmann has to compete with some contestants in STREAM WARS who are quite knowledgeable about series and streaming. In a total of four categories, the competitors must collect as many points as possible. For example, they have to guess the correct series based on scene images and match it to the correct streaming service. Technical knowledge is also tested.
The challengers of quiz expert Sebastian Klussmann are:
- Former GNTM contestant and influencer Larissa Neumann
- YouTube star Marc-Rene Lochmann
- Actress Simone Hanselmann
- Actress Birthe Wolter
- “SeriesReviewer” Chris
- Reality TV star Princess Xenia of Saxony
- Influencer and model Anastasia Shestaeva

In what year did Netflix surpass the 100 million user mark?
The four rounds of questions in STREAM WARS
Round 1
In Round 1, contestants see an image of an actor or actress in a series and the streaming service where the series can be found. Whoever knows the answer must be quick to press the buzzer first. If the answer is correct, the faster player gets a point. If it’s wrong, the opponent gets a point.
Round 2
In Round 2 of STREAM WARS, players must answer five streaming questions in succession with “True” or “False.” The questions are not only about series but also about streaming services in general. Each correct answer earns a point.
Round 3
In the third round, the task is to identify the correct series and streaming service based on a shown scene. The contestants must write both answers secretly on a board–but they only have ten seconds. Then it’s revealed, and there’s a point for the correct series and a point for the correct streaming service.
Round 4
The final round of STREAM WARS is the cross-examination. Here, there’s a lot of points to be gained, as each correct answer is worth two points. However, the questions are challenging: the cross-examination focuses on streaming technology. Players take turns answering five open questions and must provide the correct answer–”approximately” is not enough!
STREAM WARS starts on November 7
STREAM WARS begins on November 7–and from then on, a new episode will be available every Sunday on TECHBOOK.de. The show is hosted by TECHBOOK editorial director Andreas Filbig.
