Savings at Lidl: Those who pay with the discounter’s Plus app can refuel at Shell for less. E-car drivers also benefit.
Three Cents Less Per Liter
Anyone refueling at a participating Shell station between August 31 and October 4, 2026, can save three cents per liter with Lidl Plus. The discount applies to gasoline and diesel and is activated via a personal voucher in the Lidl Plus app.
To do this, users must select the corresponding partner benefit in the app and tap “Secure Benefit.” They then show the displayed code at the Shell checkout when paying. A prior purchase at Lidl is not required. A maximum of 70 liters per refueling is considered–allowing for up to 2.10 euros in savings.

Not Everyone Gets the Discount
The promotion does not work without restrictions. Shell V-Power is excluded, as is combining with other benefits like Shell ClubSmart. Those paying with a fuel or service card, such as the Shell Card, cannot use the Lidl discount. Which Shell stations participate can be checked online.
E-car drivers also get their money’s worth. They can use the Shell Recharge e-Deal for free for one month via Lidl Plus. This gives them a 25 percent discount on the current kilowatt-hour price at Shell Recharge fast and ultra-fast charging stations in Germany.
Free Charging–But Only for One Month
The benefit for electric cars is valid for up to 400 kilowatt-hours per contract month. To use it, the Shell app, a Shell account, and a stored payment method are required. The necessary offer code is available through the Lidl Plus app.
But beware: The free month does not end automatically. Those who do not deactivate the automatic renewal in the Shell app in time will end up in a paid subscription. The Shell Recharge e-Deal currently costs 5.99 euros per month.
