Media Markt and Saturn Revamp Their Bonus Program: What It Means for Customers
For some time now, the two largest electronics retail chains have belonged to the same corporation. So far, Media Markt and Saturn have continued to operate separately, but this is gradually changing. Both brands are slowly coming closer together, and this will soon be reflected in the bonus program of Media Markt and Saturn.
Media Markt and Saturn Unify Bonus Program
For several years, both brands have shared a common logo, and new services and offers are now launched simultaneously for both chains. Customers especially benefit from this uniformity, as they can access the desired offers in even more stores. What was still missing was a corresponding adjustment to the bonus program of Media Markt and Saturn.
This step has now been announced. Currently, individuals with a customer account receive an email informing them about it. Starting June 11, 2025, only one shared account will be needed to benefit from the bonus program at both Media Markt and Saturn. The email states that from this date, points can be collected and converted into discount coupons. Customers can choose whether the voucher is for Media Markt or Saturn.

Furthermore, it will be possible to manage purchases from both chains in a single account. If you currently have a user account, it will automatically receive the upgrade on June 11. “Your points balance, shopping cart, wish list, and order history will remain,” the email states.
For the unified bonus program at Media Markt and Saturn, there are new terms of participation and data protection notices. If you have already agreed to them, no action is required—they will automatically take effect unless you object in writing by June 9. Everyone else should log in promptly to give their consent. This applies to those who have been registered with either one or both programs so far.

Customers who register after June 11 will immediately gain access to both Media Markt and Saturn, as the company reports in a separate announcement.
