Google is introducing new AI features with the Pixel 10 smartphone, reportedly focusing on the camera. At least, that’s what new leaks suggest.
With its upcoming smartphone generation, Google has big technological plans. The Pixel 10 will feature innovative AI functions that are expected to enhance camera use. These are anticipated to launch in October 2025 with the new Pixel models. This is according to the “GoogleWatchBlog.”
Pixel 10 to Get Better AI
The Google Pixel 10 is set to receive a more advanced version of its in-house AI, Gemini. This AI will actively assist photographers through the camera app. The so-called Camera Coach analyzes the camera’s live image in real time and provides users with practical tips to improve their shots.
For instance, the smartphone might suggest changing the angle or paying attention to better lighting. While this functionality isn’t entirely new, it is optimized through the integration of Gemini.
Voice-Controlled Photo Editing Expected
Another innovation is the ability to edit photos via voice command. Google’s Photos app already includes some AI-supported editing features, such as the magic editor, which allows users to move, remove, or replace objects in an image. In the future, users will be able to make such changes simply by using voice commands, like saying, “Remove this person” or “Make the sea bluer.” This feature is based on Gemini’s image analysis, which can recognize objects in a photo.

According to the report, these new tools will initially be exclusive to the Pixel 10. However, a so-called “Feature Drop” could grant older Pixel models access to the updates.
