As has been customary with Google for years, practically all details about the upcoming Pixel 10 series have been leaked in advance. Until now, the only unknowns were the prices for the individual devices in Europe—but that is changing now.
The Pixel event for 2025 is set for August 13. Google is expected to unveil successors to the Pixel 9, 9 Pro/9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. In the U.S., the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro are anticipated to launch at the same price. The starting price for the Pixel 10 Pro XL might increase by $100, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could see a $200 price drop. The pricing structure for the eurozone is likely to be similar, according to a recent leak from Germany.
Few Price Changes for Pixel 10 Series
The well-informed journalist Roland Quandt from “Winfuture” has posted all euro prices for the upcoming Pixel 10 models on the social media platform Bluesky. According to him, the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro will maintain the same pricing structure as their predecessors. The only difference: the Pixel 10 Pro will have a new 1-terabyte version for 1,589 euros. Previously, buyers had to opt for the XL model to get this storage configuration.
Contrary to expectations for the U.S. market, the price for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in Germany is not expected to drop. However, a new 1-TB version is also available here, priced at 2,289 euros. Google apparently plans to bring the higher base price for the Pixel 10 Pro XL to euro countries as well. Those looking to purchase the XL variant will need to pay at least 1,299 euros. The reason: the cheaper 128-gigabyte version (1,199 euros for the Pixel 9 Pro XL) is being discontinued. Google seems to be following Apple’s strategy, which also eliminated the 128-GB option with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Updates for Pixel 10
The design of the Pixel 10 models is expected to be similar to last year’s devices. At least, that’s suggested by a prototype of the Pixel 10 currently for sale on a Chinese auction site. However, there are some changes under the hood. The smartphones will feature Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, which, according to leaked benchmarks, offers a significant performance boost over the Tensor G4. The chip is also expected to be manufactured using TSMC’s 3-nm process and consume less power.

For the first time, the Pixel 10 is expected to feature an additional telephoto camera similar to the Pro models. Google likely aims to better differentiate the device from the more affordable Pixel 9a (and upcoming Pixel 10a). However, rumors suggest that the additional camera may come at the expense of the main and ultra-wide cameras. Due to space constraints, Google is reportedly using the smaller sensors from the Pixel 9a.
