Samsung is preparing to unveil the Galaxy S26 FE. The so-called Fan Edition is once again expected to be a more affordable alternative to the regular top models. However, a new price leak suggests that buyers will have to dig deeper into their pockets.
Leak Reveals Prices for All Storage Sizes
According to a report from the online magazine “TechRepublic,” leaks from France suggest a starting price of 749 euros for the Galaxy S26 FE with 128 GB of storage. The 256 GB and 512 GB variants could cost 809 and 929 euros, respectively. This means the prices would be between 50 and 150 euros higher than those of the predecessor, depending on the model.
The smallest storage variant, in particular, is likely to raise questions. While other models in the Galaxy S26 series are already offered with at least 256 GB, Samsung might again opt for 128 GB for the FE model. These details have not been officially confirmed yet. Until the smartphone is unveiled, interested parties should view the leaked prices with caution.

High-End Features with Minor Compromises
Samsung is likely to rely on a familiar mix of high-end features and some compromises for the new Fan Edition. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120-hertz refresh rate, an Exynos 2500 processor, and 8 GB of RAM. The design also appears to be more closely aligned with the current Galaxy S26 series, adopting its newly redesigned camera module.
However, innovations in the camera and battery are limited. A 50-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens with three times optical zoom are expected. The battery is still expected to offer 4900 mAh and can be charged at up to 45 watts.

Base Model S26 Remains Attractive
Thus, the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to offer a larger display and battery, but will likely have to make do with less RAM and the weaker Exynos 2500 chip. The telephoto camera also appears to be somewhat simpler on paper. The regular Galaxy S26 remains the technically superior smartphone, while the FE model is expected to stand out mainly for its larger display and lower entry price.
However, this price advantage is shrinking: The Samsung Galaxy S26 launched in the spring with a suggested retail price of 999 euros for the 256 GB version with 12 GB RAM. Currently, the smartphone is available for around 600 euros. This raises the question of whether the Fan Edition will be attractive to buyers or if they will prefer the base model.
