Apple is introducing a new protection plan for customers in Germany at the beginning of August. With Apple Care One, multiple devices can be covered under a single monthly subscription. The plan promises savings compared to individual protection plans, depending on the device combination, and extends theft and loss protection to additional product categories.
Apple Care One Offers Protection for Three Devices
Previously, customers had to sign a separate AppleCare+ contract for each product. The bundled option has been available in the U.S. since July 2025. Now, the offer is also available in Germany.
For 20.99 euros per month, up to three eligible devices can be included in the plan. The products included do not affect the base price of the subscription. Each additional device increases the monthly cost by 5.99 euros. Bundling can be financially beneficial, especially for devices with higher individual costs.
Price Advantage Depends on Device Selection
According to Apple, the combination of an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch can save up to 13.48 euros per month compared to three separate AppleCare+ plans with theft and loss protection. However, the calculation differs for more than three devices. Four protected products cost a total of 26.98 euros per month with Apple Care One.
Those who secure an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and headphones pay a combined 21.96 euros monthly with the cheapest individual plans. In this example, the new plan is 5.02 euros above the individual costs.
The result is different with an Apple Vision Pro. In this configuration, the individual plans total at least 41.46 euros per month, making Apple Care One 14.48 euros cheaper.

Replacement for Theft and Free Repairs
In addition to the price, the plan offers additional benefits. Theft and loss protection, previously only available for the iPhone, will now also cover the iPad and Apple Watch. Apple covers up to three cases of theft or loss per year. However, a service fee of 129 euros is charged for each replacement device.
The plan also includes unlimited repairs for accidental damage, a battery service, and priority support from Apple experts. Repairs are carried out with original parts in Apple Stores or by authorized service partners, according to the company.

Older Apple Devices Can Also Be Protected
Apple Care One can be purchased through the German Apple website, in Apple Stores, or directly via iPhone, iPad, or Mac for existing AppleCare+ contracts or recently purchased devices.
Not only new devices can be included in the plan. Products up to four years old are also eligible. For headphones, the age limit is one year. A good device condition and association with the respective Apple account are required. Verification can be done via device diagnostics or in an Apple Store. This allows for enrollment even after the usual 60-day period. Devices can be added or removed at any time later.
