Broadcast of the Eleventh Matchday of the Bundesliga
The duel between FC Bayern Munich and SC Freiburg will be shown live on Sky and streamed via WOW. This match follows the usual broadcast model for the 2025/26 season.
Sky, DAZN, and Sat.1 share the rights to the Bundesliga. To watch all games live, two subscriptions are needed. DAZN broadcasts all Sunday games and the Saturday conference. Sky shows a total of 227 matches on Friday and Saturday, but only as individual games. The streaming service WOW offers the same content as Sky, but available online.
The free-to-air channel Sat.1 only shows selected matches: the opening game, one game each on the 15th, 16th, and 17th matchdays, the relegation matches between the first and second leagues, and the Supercup.
An overview:
- Fridays: Sky (partially also Sat.1)
- Saturdays: Sky, the conference is on DAZN
- Sundays: DAZN
Those who book DAZN through Sky can also receive the linear channels DAZN 1 and DAZN 2 via cable or satellite. These channels broadcast, among other things, Bundesliga and Champions League matches.
FC Bayern Remains League Leader
Regardless of the result against SC Freiburg, FC Bayern Munich remains the league leader. The record champion matches its own benchmark from the 1970s. Back then, the team led by Udo Lattek, with players like Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, and Uli Hoeneß, topped the table for 43 consecutive matchdays. Currently, the lead over RB Leipzig is six points.
SC Freiburg is currently in tenth place. Despite mixed performances in the league, the team can point to a small winning streak: three wins and one draw in the last four competitive matches–including successes in the DFB-Pokal and the Europa League–provide reason for optimism.
In the overall record, the two clubs have faced each other 52 times. Bayern has won 37 games, ten ended in a draw, and Freiburg has won five. Whether Freiburg’s streak holds will be seen on the eleventh matchday of the Bundesliga in Munich.
