As a series fan, you might sometimes feel like at least one title gets canceled every week, no matter the platform. It can be nerve-wracking to think about whether your beloved series will continue. Now there’s good news from Amazon Prime Video: “Reacher” has been renewed for Season 6.
“Reacher” Season 6 Thanks to Consistent Success
This is reported by the U.S. trade magazine “Variety.” According to them, Amazon has given the green light for “Reacher” Season 6, even while the fifth season is still in production and has not yet been released.
The adaptation of Lee Child’s popular book series debuted on the streaming service in 2022 and has been a consistent success since. Season 4 garnered 66 million views worldwide within the first 28 days of its release, marking a significant achievement. This makes the season one of the five most-streamed seasons of Amazon original series ever. Across all seasons, “Reacher” has accumulated about 200 million views.

What exactly “Reacher” Season 6 will be about is currently unknown. It’s expected that another Lee Child book will serve as the basis–which one, however, remains unclear.
The current fourth season is based on the novel “Underground.” In it, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) gets caught up in a deadly game after encountering an agitated stranger on the subway. The upcoming fifth season is said to be based on the book “No Compromise.”

In it, Reacher arrives in a small town called Mother’s Rest and meets a former FBI agent who now works as a private detective. She is searching for someone. As the townspeople all seem very distant, Reacher becomes suspicious and decides to help her with her investigation.
There is no release date for “Reacher” Season 6 yet, but Alan Ritchson’s return in the title role is confirmed. Fans can look forward to the fifth season first. Additionally, the “Reacher” spin-off “Neagley,” starring Maria Sten, was recently released.
