Amazon also scored with the adaptation of the post-apocalyptic role-playing series “Fallout.” The series was so well-received that Amazon announced another extension even before the second season aired. According to “Variety,” Amazon has confirmed that a third season of “Fallout” is already a done deal.

The decision to produce a third season is remarkable. Streaming services often cancel productions without hesitation when viewer numbers dwindle. However, Amazon does not seem to expect declining interest in “Fallout.”
Season 1, with 100 million viewers, ranks among the three most successful series productions the company has ever released. Additionally, the series was nominated for several Emmys, further underscoring its success. Whether the second season will meet the high expectations of fans remains to be seen in 2025.

Amazon has confirmed the start of the second season for the upcoming December. It is set to pick up directly from the end of the first season and continue the numerous unresolved storylines that left the audience hanging at the season finale.
Many fans suspect that the second season will take the protagonist, Lucy, to New Vegas, which is the setting of the video game spinoff of the same name. There, she is expected to find her father, about whom she learned shocking things in the first season finale, and whom she is now searching for with the ghoul.
