Apple TV+ no longer offers only original content from its own production. Well-known films and series from Apple’s partnerships, as well as new exclusive titles, are now part of the portfolio. The streaming service regularly expands its offerings with new movies, series, and seasons. In this article, TECHBOOK presents the latest additions for August on Apple TV+ and highlights the key features.
The Apple streaming service has been available since 2019 and largely focuses on exclusive original productions—known as “Apple Originals.” These include award-winning series like “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” and “The Morning Show,” as well as high-quality films and documentaries. The service costs 9.99 euros per month in Germany. The offer can be shared with up to six people through Family Sharing. Apple TV+ is available on numerous devices—not just Apple hardware, but also many smart TVs, streaming sticks, and gaming consoles. In addition to series and films, Apple also offers sports content, such as MLB games and the MLS Season Pass. New content is released regularly, with Apple focusing on quality and exclusive material rather than quantity.

New Movies in August
In the movie category, there is only one new title appearing on Apple TV+ in August. It is the 40-minute animated musical “Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical.”
Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical – from August 15
“Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical” is a roughly 40-minute musical special from the Peanuts. Charlie Brown looks forward to his last year at summer camp, while his sister Sally accompanies him for the first time and is skeptical about the new experience. When the group learns that the camp is set to close due to low enrollment, everyone is disheartened—especially Charlie Brown. Snoopy and Woodstock eventually discover a treasure map and embark on an adventure, finding a chest full of instruments and memorabilia from past summer concerts. Inspired by this, the Peanuts organize a concert together to save the camp.
