Load, turn on, done? With Somat Smartwash, dishwashing is supposed to be just as uncomplicated, delivering excellent results no matter which program is running. The retrofit system automatically dispenses detergent and rinse aid, takes care of salt and machine maintenance, and requires only one cartridge. TECHBOOK is now looking for readers who want to try Somat Smartwash in their daily lives and share their experiences with us.

What is Somat Smartwash?

Somat Smartwash is a retrofit dosing system for dishwashers. The device is simply placed in the lower rack and automatically dispenses the detergent. According to the manufacturer, the system takes into account factors such as the degree of soiling and water hardness. One cartridge combines detergent, rinse aid, salt function, and machine maintenance in a single product.

The setup is done via the Somat Smartwash app. Through the app, users can check the cartridge level, battery status, or past wash cycles.

We want your opinion

How well does such a system work in everyday life? Is the setup really uncomplicated? Can Somat Smartwash actually increase convenience in dishwashing? And most importantly: how convincing is the cleaning? Even in short programs or at low temperatures? And what happens with stubborn dirt when you increase the dosage?

That’s exactly what we want to find out together with our readers. For the reader test, we are looking for at least ten participants who will try Somat Smartwash at home for several weeks and document their experiences.

What testers receive

Selected participants will receive a Somat Smartwash starter kit with a dosing device, batteries, and the first cartridge. The value of the starter kit is 39.99 euros.

Here’s how it works
