PayPal has revamped its app, now allowing users to view and manage all subscriptions directly on mobile–including options to change payment methods. A new special offer for AI users is also underway.
The new feature consolidates all services paid via PayPal in one place to simplify access. Previously, customers had to log in through a browser to view or manage active subscriptions. This detour is now a thing of the past. Users can now access and manage their ongoing subscriptions directly in the app for Android and iOS.
Subscriptions Viewable Directly in the PayPal App
All that’s needed is a login to the PayPal app. Through the menu at the top left–symbolized by three horizontal lines–users can navigate to the “Manage Finances” section. There, the new “Subscriptions” menu item is now available.
Here, all subscriptions paid via PayPal are displayed with payment details. Users can also see when the next payment is due, the amount charged, and the payment method on file. Additionally, they can make changes to individual subscriptions or adjust the payment method for multiple subscriptions simultaneously.
Free Perplexity Pro Access for One Year
Alongside the new subscription functionality, PayPal is offering an exclusive, time-limited promotion for its customers. Those who link their PayPal account with the AI service Perplexity and select a valid payment method will receive free access to the Pro version of the assistant service for one year. The condition is that the service has not been previously subscribed to.

Perplexity AI combines a search engine and AI assistant, answering questions in natural language. The tool searches the web in real-time, summarizes information precisely, and provides transparent source references. Additionally, Perplexity offers context-based follow-up questions, personalization through user accounts, and integration of AI models like GPT-4.
The PayPal promotion runs until December 31, 2025. After that, a monthly fee of 20 U.S. dollars will apply, although the subscription can be canceled at any time. PayPal provides further information on a dedicated promotion page.
