Amazon’s second Prime Day 2023 takes place on October 10 and 11. If you need headphones, whether in-ear or over-ear, you’re sure to find something. TECHBOOK tells you which models are heavily discounted and how much you can save. Important to know: Prime Day deals are only available to Amazon customers with a Prime subscription.

Jabra Elite 3 (48.99 euros instead of 57 euros)

Small buds, big sound–the Jabra Elite 3 are not only powerful headphones but also practical and compact. The battery life of the Jabra models is six hours per earbud, with the charging case providing a total playback time of 24 hours.

Additionally, four microphones are integrated for making calls and recording voice messages. Thanks to their secure fit, you can wear the buds during sports. Active noise canceling is also included. You can make and adjust all settings in the Jabra app.

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX (369 euros instead of 499 euros)

Not exactly cheap, but still one of the best over-ear headphones on the market are the Bang & Olufsen models. The impressive battery life is 35 hours. Hybrid ANC is also included to block out ambient noise.

Thanks to the IP53 certification, the headphones are dust- and water-resistant. The 40-mm speakers with neodymium magnets and bass ports provide a powerful listening experience. A carrying case is also included.

House of Marley Positive Vibration Frequency (84.99 euros instead of 99.99 euros)

The Marley over-ear headphones are both subtle and stylish. Parts of the device are made from FSC-certified wood and recycled aluminum. But aside from the design, the headphones have a lot to offer.

The manufacturer promises strong sound quality and a long playback duration of around 34 hours. You can operate them either using the app or simply on the ear cups of the Bluetooth headphones.

Soundcore by Anker Q30 (52.99 euros instead of 89.99 euros)

Soundcore offers a variety of Bluetooth headphones, including over-ear devices like the Q30 model. Like many headphones, these also feature active noise canceling. Additionally, you can customize various modes.

The battery life of the Bluetooth headphones is around 60 hours. With a five-minute charge, you can get about four hours of playback. In the Soundcore app, you can make various settings and customize the headphones as you wish.

Bose Quietcomfort 45 (194 euros instead of 223 euros)

The over-ear headphones from Bose are also cheaper for Prime Day. They work with Bluetooth and have a battery life of around 24 hours. Additionally, the so-called Quiet and Aware modes are integrated, providing complete noise reduction.

Furthermore, microphones are included so you can easily make calls or record voicemails. With the Bose app, you can make the most important headphone settings on your smartphone.

Earfun Air Pro 3 (59.99 euros instead of 79.99 euros)

The small in-ear headphones from Earfun are especially practical if you prefer not to use larger headphones. The battery capacity is around 45 hours, depending on how intensively you use the ANC. Additionally, six microphones are built into the buds for making calls.

Bluetooth 5.3 and a Qualcomm S3 flagship chip are also integrated. Furthermore, you can make all settings in the Earfun app, adjust modes, and set tap commands.

Marshall Major IV (99 euros instead of 149 euros)

The Marshall over-ear headphones are universally popular. The Major IV model impresses with its stylish appearance and comfort. The playback duration of around 80 hours with a full charge is also remarkable. The Bluetooth device is compatible with various smartphones.

Additionally, there is a control knob for making all settings. Wireless charging is also possible. A downside of the headphones is that there is no ANC.

Beats Studio Buds (139.99 euros instead of 185.95 euros)

For Prime Day, Amazon has reduced the price of Beats Studio Buds. Compared to other popular online shops, this is the best price. Specifically, it’s about the black models of the in-ear headphones with Bluetooth. The Beats models feature active noise canceling (ANC) and also have a transparency mode that allows you to hear ambient sounds without removing the earbuds.

Additionally, the buds are compatible with Apple and Android smartphones and offer a battery life of around eight hours. The package also includes ear tips in three different sizes for a stable and comfortable fit and perfect noise isolation.

Sennheiser CX Plus (94 euros instead of 110.00 euros)

The Sennheiser CX Plus are wireless in-ear headphones that offer strong sound quality and a comfortable fit. They are equipped with Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducer technology and offer active noise canceling. Depending on usage, the headphones can run for around 24 hours. To ensure the Sennheiser models fit every ear, the package includes ear pads in four different sizes.

With the Smart Control app, you can make the most important settings on your iOS or Android device. A highlight is the rich, dynamic bass. Also practical is the ear recognition feature, which automatically pauses the music when you remove the headphones from your ears. Thanks to splash protection according to IPX4, the headphones are protected from dirt and sweat. For Prime Day, the headphones are priced at 99.99 euros, which is about 10 euros less than what retailers usually charge.

Soundcore by Anker Life Q30 (52.99 euros instead of 79.99 euros)

The Soundcore by Anker Life Q30 are wireless over-ear headphones with hybrid active noise canceling. The headphones are comfortable and offer a long battery life of up to 40 hours. A playback time of 60 hours is possible in standard mode. With the Soundcore app, you can adjust the sound and make various EQ settings. The quick charge mode is also impressive. Within five minutes, you can charge a playback time of around four hours. Thanks to the multi-point connection, you can also pair two Bluetooth devices to switch between calls, video conferences, music, and more.

Outside of Prime Day, the Soundcore headphones cost 79.99 euros. Currently, they are available for 52.99 euros.

Beats Solo 3 (159.00 euros instead of 229.95 euros)

The Beats Solo 3 are wireless on-ear headphones that offer decent sound quality and a long battery life of up to 40 hours. Additionally, the manufacturer promises that thanks to Fast Fuel technology, five minutes of charging is enough for three hours of playback. The package includes a carrying case and a universal USB charging cable (USB-A to USB Micro-B).

An Apple W1 chip is built into the headphones. Nevertheless, both iOS and Android users can easily use the Beats Solo 3. On Amazon, the Beats headphones currently cost 149 euros, but they are about six euros cheaper on eBay. Nonetheless, the offer is recommended, as the headphones have always been priced above the current Amazon price according to Idealo.

Shokz Openrun (97.95 euros instead of 114.50 euros)

Many (hobby) athletes know the problem: You want to go for a jog or do a workout, and the headphones keep falling out of your ears. Sports headphones can help with this. The Shokz models are specifically designed for this and fit securely in the ear. They are also IP67 certified, making them water and dirt resistant. The battery life is around eight hours, depending on usage. About ten minutes of charging is enough for 1.5 hours of playback.

If you want to make calls during sports, you can do so thanks to the integrated microphones. The Shokz Openrun are compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Additionally, they are relatively lightweight at 26 grams. The current Prime Day price for these headphones is the best price available.
