ChatGPT users are currently experiencing outages (as of November 18, 2025, 3:00 PM) due to issues with Cloudflare. The AI is unable to respond or responds with delays. Cloudflare itself confirmed the issues and stated that they are actively working on a solution.
Cloudflare is a U.S. company that offers internet security and performance services. It acts as a kind of “intermediary layer” between a website and the internet, protecting and accelerating the delivery of web content. The provider operates a global network of servers, which are currently experiencing disruptions. As a result, users of services such as ChatGPT, the AI from OpenAI, are facing access issues worldwide.
Causes of the Disruption
When attempting to access the assistant, only an error message appears. The problem is not limited to a specific region. And if logging in does work, the AI often responds with delays or not at all.
In addition to ChatGPT, services such as X and video games like League of Legends are also affected.

Update
According to Cloudflare, the disruption has now been resolved, but ChatGPT still experiences occasional outages. After some waiting or multiple reloads, the service usually works again—though not yet completely stable. Game servers remain non-functional.
