Microsoft has released the fall update for Windows 11 25H2. It introduces new AI features, including the Click-to-do tool and an AI agent for settings. The installation is done through small data packages, making it quick and easy.
Microsoft unveiled Windows 11 25H2 at the end of June 2025, and now the fall update is available. The software manufacturer relies on so-called “Enablement Packages” to simplify the update process. These small data packages are already present on the PC from previous updates and are activated by the current patch. This is intended to shorten download time and make installation as simple as a restart. Existing settings remain intact, so no new setup of the computer is necessary.
New AI Features and Changes
Windows 11 25H2 brings various innovations, especially for users of Copilot+. As part of the update, Microsoft has removed the applications PowerShell 2 and WMIC. For AI enthusiasts, the operating system offers the “Click-to-do Tool” for analyzing and processing screen content, which can now be used more flexibly. Users can select areas in freeform, as a rectangle, or by clicking while holding the Ctrl key to allow the AI to process multiple contents.
Improvements in Tools and Security
An AI agent for Windows settings assists users in configuring the operating system. New AI features are also expected to be integrated into the File Explorer, although Microsoft has not yet released details on this. Independent of AI, the Snipping Tool now offers the ability to record videos of program windows. Additionally, Windows 11 25H2 enhances security through optimized vulnerability detection and AI-supported secure coding. Microsoft also guarantees two years of security patches for the update. The operating system is available both as an update and as a full ISO version.
