Apple will unveil its new iPhone 17 on September 9, 2025, at the keynote. The company is following its annual product cycle, presenting the devices shortly after the IFA. In addition to the smartphone, new Apple Watches and AirPods Pro might also be introduced. The sales launch is reportedly set for September 19.
4 New iPhones Planned
According to information from internal sources at German mobile providers, the date for the next major Apple presentation is reportedly set. On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the company will unveil the new iPhone generation in a keynote. Pre-orders are expected to be available from September 12, before the devices hit the market on September 19. In addition to the U.S. and China, Japan and Europe are also among the first markets.
Four models are expected to be introduced. The standard iPhone 17 will likely be complemented by a new, particularly slim iPhone 17 Air, which succeeds the previous Plus variants. In the high-end segment, the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to appear.

The keynote might not be dedicated solely to the new smartphones. Rumor has it that the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3 could also be presented. Additionally, there is speculation about the third generation of AirPods Pro.
Sales Launch Shortly After Presentation
As in previous years, Apple is aiming for a quick market launch following the product presentation. Customers can pre-order the new devices starting September 12, with regular sales beginning a week later. The models are expected to be available simultaneously in the key markets.
In addition to the anticipated hardware innovations, Apple is likely to discuss updates to its operating systems during the keynote. These are expected to include features of iOS 19, watchOS 11, and other software updates tailored to the new devices.
