In this series, TECHBOOK shows you the best Android hacks and tricks–with video and detailed instructions.

The Android operating system developed by Google is the most widely used in the world. Seventy percent of all smartphones today run on Android. The OS has now reached its eleventh generation, and with each new generation, it has gained new features–some of which are quite well hidden. In the “Android Hacks” series, TECHBOOK presents the best and most practical of these features.

In part 13, you’ll learn how to quickly and easily record your Android smartphone screen.

Here’s how it works

1. Pull down the quick access bar from the top of the screen.

2. Scroll through the options until you find Start Screen Recording.

3. Set the preferences for whether the recording can access the internal microphone and display screen touches.

4. Start the recording by clicking Start. After a short timer, the recording begins and documents everything you do on the screen.
