Turn old into new: A cassette case is the perfect base for a cool gadget. TECHBOOK shows how to transform the seemingly useless case into a phone holder.
An old cassette case can actually be great for a cool tech hack. To craft a stand for your smartphone, you will need:
- a cassette case
- your smartphone
- Optional:
- decorative foil
- a pen
- scissors
Step 1: Cut the foil to the size of the cassette.
Step 2: Stick the foil onto the case
There are no limits to colors and shapes. Purists can, of course, skip the decoration.
Step 3: Done!
Remove the lid of the cassette case from the frame and reinsert it upside down. Then open the case and place your smartphone inside. Stylish!
