The new Pro models from Apple will hit the market on September 18, 2026. However, interested buyers should already plan for significantly longer delivery times.
Apple unveiled the new iPhone generation just a few days ago. Alongside the foldable iPhone Duo, the company also introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max. The smartphones are set to launch on September 18, 2026. They will be available in Apple Stores, and the first pre-orders will be shipped then.

However, those who order the iPhone 18 Pro Max now will not receive it by the sales launch. The U.S. Apple Store currently shows a delivery window between October 6 and October 13, 2026. According to current information, the delay affects all colors and storage variants of the smartphone.
The smaller Pro model looks better
The wait time for the iPhone 18 Pro is somewhat shorter. Apple currently lists an expected delivery window from September 29 to October 6, 2026. This means the device could reach the first buyers by the end of September.
Nevertheless, the smaller Pro model also shows that the original delivery times no longer apply to all new orders. Those who order after the pre-sale start should also expect a later delivery. However, the differences between the two models are significant.
High demand as a possible reason
How well the new Pro smartphones are actually selling is not yet known. Apple traditionally does not release official pre-order numbers. Therefore, the demand cannot be precisely quantified at this time.
The postponed delivery dates could, however, indicate that interest in the devices is high. Especially for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, the available quantity for new orders already seems to be running low. Whether delivery times will continue to increase in the coming days or if the situation will ease remains to be seen.
