The iPhone has undergone a long development history since its launch in 2007. Over the years, Apple has continually expanded the iOS operating system, often adding small and large, sometimes well-hidden features. In the “iPhone Hacks” series, TECHBOOK presents the best and most practical of these features. This time, it’s about apps on the iPhone.
In Part 9, you’ll learn how to move multiple apps at once on the home screen.
How It Works
1. Press and hold an app you want to move until the iPhone briefly vibrates, then drag it slightly to the side.
2. While still holding the app, select other apps to create a bundle.
3. Drag the bundle to the location on the home screen where you want the apps to be moved and release.
4. The apps will now take their new place in the order they were selected.
And just like that, you’ve reorganized the apps on your iPhone.
