Typing on a touchscreen in winter? Far too cold. A touch pen provides relief and can be used even with gloves. TECHBOOK shows you how to make a touch stylus yourself in two minutes.
For this TECH HACK, you will need:
- some aluminum foil
- a pair of scissors
- a cotton swab
- an old ballpoint pen
- a glass of water

Step 1
Cut the cotton swab in half. Remove the ink cartridge from the ballpoint pen and insert half of the cotton swab in its place.

Step 2
Now wrap the ballpoint pen in aluminum foil. It’s important that the foil also touches the cotton swab at the tip.

Step 3
Now moisten the tip with a drop of water to increase conductivity.

Your homemade touch stylus is ready!
