Typing on a touchscreen in winter? Far too cold. A touch pen provides relief and can be used even with gloves. TECHBOOK shows you how to make a touch stylus yourself in two minutes.

For this TECH HACK, you will need:

  • some aluminum foil
  • a pair of scissors
  • a cotton swab
  • an old ballpoint pen
  • a glass of water

Step 1

Cut the cotton swab in half. Remove the ink cartridge from the ballpoint pen and insert half of the cotton swab in its place.

Step 2

Now wrap the ballpoint pen in aluminum foil. It’s important that the foil also touches the cotton swab at the tip.
