Minimal effort for maximum organization: In this tech hack video, TECHBOOK shows how to truly organize your desk. Excess cables get a fixed spot and never fall to the floor again.
Everyone knows the problem: Too many cables clutter the home desk, and you search in vain for both ends. With minimal effort, you can build an organizer that keeps cables always handy and tidy. You will need:
- a hole punch
- scissors
- two paper clips
- a piece of cardboard

Step 1: Cut the cardboard
Cut a small rectangle from the cardboard and punch a hole in the center. Use the scissors to cut a small slit. You need one piece of cardboard for each end of the cable.

Step 2: Set up on the desk
Attach the paper clips to the desk surface. Thread the cables through the lower loop of the clip, then through the cardboard, and finally through the upper loop.

Step 3: Done!
Unnecessary cables now hang at the edge of the desk but won’t fall thanks to the cardboard. When needed, simply pull the desired length of cable from the clip.
